Early entry codes are available for those wanting to register and fish the BASS BNC Regional Qualifier on the James River, April 23-25. There are ten boater and ten rider codes and distribution will be based on your 2024 Trail standing.
Boater entry fee is $400, and rider is $200.
The registration period for these codes opens on January 14 and the list of names and corresponding codes needs to be delivered to BASS by the 13th so a quick turnaround is required. Please let us know ASAP with a deadline of Friday, January 10.
NOTE: You MUST possess a Boater Safety Certificate to fish this event. They are transferrable between states. For example, if you complete the Maryland Boater Safety Course, it is accepted in Virginia and all other states. You will be required to upload a copy of this certificate on the B.A.S.S. website. There are no exceptions.

MBN Clubs & Regions
There are many active bass fishing clubs associated with the Maryland BASS Nation. These clubs are organized into four separate regions based on where they are located within the state. Clubs manage themselves, socialize, run their own club tournaments, have their own officers and hold elections for those officers, participate in MBN-sponsored tournaments, etc. A listing of clubs and their regional alignment can be found on our ‘Clubs’ page.
If you are interested in joining a club in your area, go to the ‘Join Now’ page on our website and fill out an application. If you are interested in starting an adult club, refer to the Bassmasters article on how to start one. If you are interested in starting a high school club, refer to this packet of information.
